Alumni Association
Alumni of an educational institute is the real mirror image of the achievements of that institute.
The Nanded Education Society was founded by Pujya Swami Ramanand Teerth, the great freedom fighter and visionary in the year 1950 and Peoples College came into existence. Due to the increase in strength, Peoples College, Nanded was bifurcated in June1963 and an independent science faculty college was established in the name NES Science College, Nanded.
The alumni of Peoples College and Science College, Nanded had formed an association in the year 1967 and the activities of this association are worth mentioning.
The association has started a primary school which later on developed into a full fledged secondary school and various other activities were undertaken.
During the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Nanded Education Society, a get together of all the past alumni of Peoples College and Science College, was organized and large number of past alumnis attended. Some of the alumnis were felicitated in this program.
However it was felt by the alumnis of the Science stream that a separate alumni association of Science College should be formed and due to above suggestion, Alumni Association of Science College came into existence.
Science College is in touch with large number of past students as a member of the Alumni Association of Science College. Whenever there are functions, conferences, seminars; the college invites these alumnis to encourage and guide the students.
